A lesson plan that changes as you improve
There is no useful one-size-fits-all lesson plan. A complete beginner needs time to make the basics automatic, while a learner with previous experience may need targeted work on a smaller number of weaknesses. Lessons are adjusted as your confidence and consistency improve.
Why learn manual?
A manual licence gives you the option to drive both manual and automatic cars after you pass. If you are unsure whether manual tuition suits you, an assessment lesson is a practical way to find out.

Common questions
How much is a manual driving lesson?
The current rate is £40 per hour. A 1.5 hour lesson is £60 and a 2 hour lesson is £80.
Do you teach complete beginners?
Yes. Lessons can start from the basics and progress at a pace that allows you to build confidence safely.
How long should each lesson be?
Standard lessons are 1.5 or 2 hours. The best length depends on your concentration, experience and what you are working on.
Can I use my own car?
Ask when booking. Any car used for tuition must be suitable, legal and correctly insured for the lesson.
